The systems are cold-applied so there are none of the safety risks associated with the open flames and hot torches used with traditional roll-applied systems. Being applied in a liquid form allows the resins to waterproof even the most complex of details, forming a seamless waterproofing membrane that also eliminates the risk of water ingress at the weak points associated with the lap joints of sheeted roofing materials, such as felt or single-ply.
The following are brief summaries of our product range and their application in refurbishment projects:
Protec System
A cost effective and fast curing polyester roofing system that is suitable for waterproofing a wide range of existing roof surfaces. Protec is ideal for projects that require a fast solution with minimal disruption and carries BBA approval with guarantees of up to 20 years. Protec can also be applied directly to approved insulation boards for rapid and economic thermal upgrades to current building regulation standards.
Polyroof 185 System
Should the existing roof need to be stripped and replaced with a new roof construction, such as when a roof has been persistently leaking and the structure has deteriorated, the Polyroof 185 system is the ideal solution. Applied to a new quality plywood deck as part of a warm roof or cold roof design, Polyroof 185 boasts a BBA durability rating of 30 years and an insurance backed guarantee of 20 years.
Elastex System
A highly flexible polyurethane overlay system that is ideal for waterproofing industrial gutters and other metal substrates such as lead, Elastex is also suitable for larger scale roof refurbishments. The system is available with guarantees up to 25 years and carries BBA approval.
Roofcoat Plus System
A polyurethane/acrylic hybrid overlay system suitable for coating low pitched sheeted roofs that can be applied to substrates such as asbestos, Plastisol coated sheeting and composite metals. A rapid and cost effective solution to leaking industrial roofs, the system carries a 10 year manufacturer’s guarantee.
