A visual assessment of your roof can sometimes not be enough to detect the issues that your roof is experiencing. When considering the best course of action for your project, the Polyroof Technical Team can arrange for a a full project appraisal of the roof to ensure that the best solution is provided. As part of your survey, our team will use testing methods such as core sampling and moisture mapping to determine the best course of action. Based upon the challenges, demands and budgets of your refurbishment project, recommendations will be provided on whether to overlay, upgrade or replace your roof.
Overlay
The Polyroof range of liquid waterproofing products are ideal for overlaying failing flat roof systems. As long as the existing roof is structurally sound, dry and free from major water damage an overlay will be possible onto just about any surface. Your overlaid roof will be covered by the trusted Polyroof Guarantee.
Upgrade
If your existing roof build up is sound, but does not meet current thermal performance requirements, we may recommend to upgrade your roof. As well as providing a seamless waterproofing solution, insulation can be installed over the existing roof build up to increase your roof’s thermal efficiencies and meet regulations.
Replacement
If your survey provides evidence that the long-term integrity of your roof is compromised, the existing roof will need to be replaced. As a result, our team will advise you on drainage falls, thermal calculations, wind uplift and any other considerations required to replace your roof as quickly and efficiently as possible.
